Frequently Asked Questions

  • I offer 1:1 Therapy / Counselling and 1:1 Coaching. Therapy and counselling may be approached in a conventional, spiritual, or integrative way, depending on your needs and preferences. Coaching is more forward-focused and goal-oriented, while therapy and counselling support emotional healing, self-understanding, and deeper personal work.

  • Coaching focuses on supporting a person to move forward. It is future-oriented and helps individuals identify goals, build strategies, and take action toward where they want to be.

Counselling, on the other hand, often works backwards. It focuses on exploring past experiences, emotional patterns, and internal blocks or barriers that may be holding a person back from moving forward. The aim is to understand and heal these obstacles so progress becomes possible.

  • Spiritual therapy acknowledges emotional, psychological, and energetic dimensions of wellbeing. It may include intuitive insight, symbolic work, mindfulness, or meaning-based exploration, always grounded in ethical practice and emotional safety. Spiritual elements are never imposed and are only used with your consent.

  • No, not at all. You do not need to hold any spiritual beliefs. Sessions are always tailored to you. We can work in a purely conventional therapeutic way if that feels right for you. Spiritual is for me to intuitively understands you.

  • You can begin by booking a free 15-minute consultation. This is a space to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and see whether we are a good fit. There is no obligation to continue.

  • If you decide to proceed, you’ll be invited to book an initial 60-minute therapy session. This session allows us to explore your background, current concerns, goals, and the best way to work together.

  • The initial session is a deeper assessment and exploration of what brings you to therapy or counselling. We will look at your emotional needs, patterns, and intentions, and discuss possible pathways for ongoing support.

  • After the initial session, you can choose between:

    • 4 weekly sessions, or

    • 10 weekly sessions

These blocks provide continuity, structure, and deeper therapeutic work over time.

  • Follow-up sessions are usually held once per week. This helps maintain momentum while allowing time for integration between sessions.

  • Follow-up session blocks are non-refundable. Once purchased, sessions must be used within the agreed timeframe:

    • 4-session block: All sessions must be used within 3 months of the first follow-up session.

    • 10-session block: All sessions must be used within 6 months of the first follow-up session.

This helps maintain therapeutic continuity and ensures the work remains effective and supportive.

This policy supports commitment to the therapeutic process and ensures continuity of care.

  • Sessions are currently offered online (e.g., via Zoom). Details will be provided after booking.

For in-person sessions, you will need to travel to Hull, UK, as I am based here. Please contact me via the contact form to make arrangements.
